December 26, 1990 –  September 21, 2012  WHITESBORO ? Graveside services for Ashley Nicole Wicklund, 21, were held on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Dixie Cemetery in Whitesboro, Texas with Hank Lovejoy officiating.
She passed away peacefully at her home on September 21, 2012 after a lifetime of illness. Ashley was born on December 26, 1990 in Sherman, Texas. She is survived by her parents, Eric Douglas and Carol Ann (O?Connor) Wicklund of Whitesboro, TX; brother, Blake Douglas Wicklund of Whitesboro, TX; and grandparents: Mary O?Connor of Bellingham, WA; Edward P. O?Connor of Reedsville, Ohio; and Ralph and Lucille Wicklund of Bellingham, WA; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family wishes to thank Ashley?s caregivers: Leesa Nugent, Nurse?s Aide; Jennifer DeVine and Natalie Simms, Nurses; as well as the entire staff of Guardian Hospice for making sure Ashley was happy, well taken care of and pain free in her last years.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Blake Wicklund Education Fund at the American Bank of Texas, 851 Hwy 377 N., Whitesboro, TX 76273. More information will be available through the website or through the bank next week.
