Angela Getty (Smith) Teetrick was born on January 31, 1950, in Milton, Florida, to Getty Lee Jones and Kenneth Samual Smith. She was the youngest of eight siblings.

Angela, also known as Angie by friends and family, is survived by her brother, Delmar Smith; her son, Raymond Alford; her daughter, Valerie (Alford) Sheppard; her grandchildren, Candy Weeks, Stephenn Hamon, Payden Bean, and Astra (Bean) McNamara; and her great-grandchildren, Bryce Weeks, Gavin Weeks, and Alexander Zamora Gonzalez.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Getty and Kenneth Smith; and her siblings, Kennie L. Smith, Theresia Smith, Martha Smith, Orpha Smith, Gerald Smith, Melba Smith, Kenneth “Buddy” S. Smith Jr. and eldest son, Daren Drysdale.

Angela will be remembered for her quick-witted humor, her headstrong personality, her love for animals and family, and the beautiful force of nature that she was.

There will be a Remembrance gathering on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro, TX.
