December 7, 1925 –  March 31, 2015  WHITESBORO – Funeral services for Alton Lee Decker, 89, will be held Friday, April 3, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. in the Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro, Texas with Bro. Mike Flanagan officiating. Interment will follow the service at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro. Visitation services will be held Thursday, April 2, at Meador Funeral Home, from 7 – 8 p.m.He died on Tuesday, March 31, 2015, in Sherman, Texas.

Lee was born on December 7, 1925 in Newsome, Texas to Carl Emit and Byrtle (Jordan) Decker. He married Reba Byars. He was an oil pumper for 34 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Whitesboro. Lee was an antique car enthusiast.
He is survived by his wife, Reba Decker of Whitesboro; son, Rick Decker and wife, Sharon, of Lubbock; grandson, Christopher Decker and his wife, Tiffany, of Lubbock; great-grandchildren: Ryan, Allison, and Jordan; and sister, Jean Brayton, of Anna.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Byrtle Decker; and brothers: Charles Decker and James Decker.

The pallbearers will be Jerry Patterson, Dennis Hawkins, Chris Decker, Ken Boyd, James Henderson, and Roy Spears. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Wade Stofle, J. P. Henderson, Travis Maynard, and Hank Lovejoy.
