April 19, 1930 –  April 5, 2009  COLLINSVILLE- Graveside Services for Alta â??Bethâ? Taylor Muse, 78, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at Collinsville Cemetery in Collinsville with Ricky Patterson officiating. Services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 P.M. Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at the funeral home.
Beth passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2009 at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center in Sherman.

Beth was born on April 19, 1930 in Plainview, Oklahoma to Dan and Mary (Murphy) Taylor. She married Herschel Chambless on October 22, 1946 in Wellington, Texas, she later married Floyd Muse on August 21, 1980 in Childress, Texas. Beth worked for Maloufs in Whitesbosro for 12 years as a seamstress. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her daughters, Barbara Peterman and husband Larwain of Collinsville and Vivian Hernandez and husband Johnny of Collinsville; a son, Robert Chambless and wife Donna of Woodbine; a brother, Earl Leon Taylor of Lewisville; 2 sisters, Joye Walker of Yoakum and Sandra Kaye Steinmann and husband Edwin of Yoakum; 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends. She is also survived by her special pet cat â??Wildchildâ?.

Beth was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Floyd Muse; brothers, Vernon Taylor, Donald Taylor and R.D. Taylor; sisters, Nelda Taylor, Juanita Shires and great-granddaughter Cheyanne Young.

Pallbearers are: David Walker, Devan Nelsen, Luther Minor, Fred Kays, Mark Kays and Edwin Steinmann.

Honorary pallbearers are her 11 grandchildren; Larwain Peterman, Roger Peterman, Brian Peterman, Jason Peterman, Michelle Cox, Andy Hernandez, John Hernandez, Lena Hernandez, Rickey Hernandez, Amanda Chambless, Cameron Chambless and nephew Phillip Steinmann.
