May 3, 1929 –  March 15, 2011  Graveside services for Alfred Covington will be held 3 p.m. Thursday, March 17th at Fairview Cemetery Pavilion with Rev. Bill Fincher, Pastor of Central Baptist Church officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Clement-Keel Funeral Home.
Mr. Covington, 81, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at North Texas Medical Center. He was born May 3, 1929 in Sarah, Oklahoma to John H. and Willie E. (Hammer) Covington. Alfred was a heavy equipment operator for Gainesville Concrete and a member of Central Baptist Church.

Survivors of Alfred Covington include his wife Sina Covington of Gainesville; daughters, Ginny York of Gainesville, Neva Gilbreath of Gainesville, Gloria Morrison of Sherwood Shores and Linda Conner of Sanger; thirteen grandchildren and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, J. W. Covington; sister, May Boatman and his parents.
