MOM
You never said, “I love you,”; yet we seen it in your eyes.
It was all an uphill battle, yet we never heard your cries.
You made it through some hard times, though you never slipped or fell.
There’s times you held together, though, we put you through all hell.
Thus now our wings have opened, with our feathers full of flaws.
We never will forget the way you fought to win our cause.
You never said, “I love you,”; yet we knew there was no other.
We see you now and stand and say, “We are proud that you’re our Mother!”
