April 30, 1961 –  December 3, 2014  William Mac “Bill” Richardson, 53, passed away at his residence in Whitesboro Wednesday, December 3, 2014. Bill was born in Sunnyvale, Texas April 30, 1961 to Marvin and Rachel “Sally” (Lewis) Richardson. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 9th at J. L. Arena, 10801 E. Hwy 82 Whitesboro, Texas. A private burial will follow. Family visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday, December 8th at Meador-Clement-Keel Funeral Home in Gainesville.
He was a well known horseman throughout the country and traded many horses in his day, starting at the age of 12. He moved to Whitesboro in early 2000, loving his life here. He loved with his whole heart and soul, and was loved by so many. He will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his daughter, Marka Parsons and husband, Garrett of Leavenworth, Kansas; mother, Rachel Richardson of Royse City, Texas and Elaine Pinson of Longview, Texas, and grandson, Pate Parsons of Leavenworth, Kansas; a brother, Rodney Richardson and children; a sister, Terri Boswell and her children; and a host of extended family and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Richardson.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial in his name has been set up at the First State Bank, 801 East California Street, Gainesville, Texas 76240.
