January 12, 1964 –  October 10, 2016  Celebration of Life Services for William “Bill” Henry Weidner, 52, of Arlington, Texas, will be held Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro, Texas. Bill passed away Monday, October 10, 2016 in Bedford, Texas, with his family by his side.He was born to Glen Alpha and Mary Catherine (Willey) Weidner on January 12, 1964, in Texas City, Texas. He served in the U.S. Army. Bill was involved with the Bill Glass Prison Ministry and worked as a professor at Grayson County College serving as Director of Electrical Technology. He loved to cook, but his passion in life was sharing his faith with others. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his loved ones.
He is survived by his sons, Chris Weidner and wife, Madiha of Arlington and Garrett Weidner of Garland; mother, Mary Catherine Weidner of Sherman; brother, Ronald Weidner and wife, Linda of Bedford; sisters, Nancy Donovan and husband, Larry of Plano, Donna Weidner of Sherman and Susan Mitchell and husband, Larry of Gordonville; 1 grandson and numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Glen Weidner.
