December 25, 1937 –  February 25, 2012  Valley View resident Vada Glascock, 74, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Autumn Leaves of Denton. She was born December 25, 1937 to L.W. and Beatrice (Galloway) Lee. She married Bert Glascock February 2, 1953 in Louisville, Kentucky. Mrs. Glascock was a retired teacher with the Valley View ISD and had also worked for the Pottsboro ISD. She was a homemaker and a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Vada loved gardening and traveling and was a member of First Baptist Church, Valley View.
Funeral services for Vada Glascock are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 29th at First Baptist Church, Valley View with Rev. Glen Kersey, church pastor officiating. Interment will follow in Valley View Cemetery with sons and grandsons serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be 6:00 รข?? 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Clement-Keel Funeral Home.

Survivors of Mrs. Glascock include her sons and daughters-in-law, Russell Lee and Kay Glascock of Valley View, Randell Wayne and Tammy Glascock of Pilot Point; daughter and son-in-law, Robbye Jill and Monty Gilbreath of Caledonia, MS; sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Claude Stallings of Lockney, Sharon Thompson of Sundown and Judy and John Ainsworth of Del City, TX; brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Kathy Lee of Sunray; grandchildren, Sarah Ratliff and husband, Lee of Fritch, Curtis Glascock of Sanger, Rachel Glascock of Pilot Point, Caitlin Gilbreath of Starksville, MS, Thomas Glascock of Pilot Point and Colton Gilbreath of Caledonia MS and great-grandchildren, Audrey Kay Ratliff of Fritch and Kendra Jo Ratliff of Fritch. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bert Glascock and her parents, L.W. and Beatrice Lee.
