May 16, 1961 –  September 4, 2010  Tony Mark McClendon, 49, passed away Saturday, September 4, 2010 at his residence in Gainesville. He was born May 16, 1961 in Colorado City, Texas to James and Betty (Rizzar) McClendon. Tony married Michelle Vondrak July 12, 1999 in Gainesville, Texas. He had worked for James Shoe Shop as a cobbler.
Funeral services for Tony McClendon are scheduled for 10 am Thursday, September 9th at Clement-Keel Chapel with Rev. Frank Lorne, pastor of Corinth Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Henry Vondrak, Henry Vondrak, Jr., Dylan Vondrak, Robert Silmon, Jesse Mendga and Mickey White will serve as pallbearers. Honorary bearers will be Tracy McClendon, Todd McClendon, Jim McClendon and Cody McClendon.

Survivors of Tony Mark McClendon include his wife, Michelle Vondrak McClendon of Gainesville; sons, Morgan Vondrak McClendon of Gainesville and Cody McClendon of Pittsburg, PA; daughter, Brittaney McClendon of Auburn, WA; Mother, Betty McClendon of Gainesville; sister, Donna McClendon of Shannon and brothers, Tracey McClendon of Gainesville, Todd McClendon of Gainesville and Jim McClendon of Mineral Wells.
