March 10, 1922 –  December 5, 2012  Gainesville resident Tommie Oleta Harrell, 90, died December 6, 2012 at Muenster Memorial Hospital. She was born March 10, 1922 in Sivells Bend, Texas to Doffie L. and Mary Belle (Bryant) Trammell. She married Henry Delbert Harrell September 11, 1942. Tommie was a homemaker and loving mother, grandmother, great, and great-great grandmother.

Funeral services for Mrs. Harrell, are set for 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 11th at Meador-Clement-Keel Chapel with Rev. David Whittington, Pastor of Bear Head Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in New Rest Haven Cemetery. Grandsons, Terry Harrell, Jerry Harrell, Newt Call Langston, Baylee King, Joey King, Wesley Daubenspeck and Mike Daubenspek will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Tommie Oleta Harrell is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Gene and Sandra Harrell of Gainesville and Guy and Janice Harrell of Thackerville; daughter, Mary Ann Sims and companion James Courtney of Gainesville; sister, Mary Ellen Suggs of Whitesboro and Katie Bell Dougherty of Gainesville; grandchildren and their spouses, Terry and Tina Harrell of Gainesville, Jerry and Joye Harrell of Gainesville, Michelle Harrell of Thackerville, Dawn and Joey King of Lantana, Texas, Stacey and Mike Daubenspeck of Carrollton, Christy and Steven Hentel of Seattle, Washington and Julie Sims of McKinleyville, California; ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and four brothers.
