November 8, 1936 –  February 4, 2017  Shirley Fay “Zoph” Hobbs, 80, passed away February 4, 2017 at Renaissance Care Center. She was born November 8, 1936 in Emma, Illinois, to Michael & Mary “Baily” Hockersmith. She married Charles W. Zoph who passed away in 1998. She married David Hobbs, Sr. who passed away in 2008. Shirley served God in the Pentecostal Church her whole life. She worked as a CNA, raised five children, was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved her family dearly and those she worked with.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Mick and husband, James of Mt. Vernon, Illinois, Venita Thomison and husband, Jimmy of Collinsville, two brothers, James Zoph and wife Ruthie of Collinsville and Chuck Zoph of Collinsville; 24 grandchildren and 56 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, daughter, Ervana Kay Crow and two granddaughters.

A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Living Waters Full Gospel church, 478 Sadler Rd., Whitesboro, Texas 76273, with Rev. Billy Tucker and Sonny Jackson officiating.
