August 28, 1946 –  August 29, 2011  Graveside services for Shelia J. Cole, 65, of Whitesboro, Texas will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 1, 2011 at Mt. Tabor Cemetery with Rev. John Reynolds officiating. Service arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home. Ms. Cole will lie in state on Wednesday, August 31, from 1 â?? 5 p.m. at the funeral home.She passed away on August 29, 2011.
Shelia was born on August 28, 1946 to Emmett Meador and Vivian Miller in Sherman, Texas. She was a member of North Hills Baptist Church in Whitesboro, Texas.
She is survived by her father, Emmett Meador of Gainesville, Texas; son, Barney Lee of Ft. Worth, TX; daughters, Sonji Stevens and husband, Robert, of Whitesboro, TX; Tetter Jones and husband, Darryel of Whitesboro, TX; two loving grandsons: Johnathon Jones and Clay Jones of Whitesboro, TX: aunts, uncles, nephews, and cousins; as well as some very special friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Vivian Miller; brother, Joey Meador; sister, Paula Hart; and son, Joe Ray Miller.
Pallbearers will be Larry Jones, Ralph Vannoy, Mac Melton, Ace Murrell, Jody Kost, and Royce Melton.
She will be greatly missed. Her caring spirit and generosity touched many lives but she will live on in our hearts forever.
