July 5, 1949 –  July 14, 2017  Funeral Services for Sephronia Inez Rue, 68, of Whitesboro, Texas will be held Monday, July 17, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Meador Funeral Home Chapel, Whitesboro, Texas with Rev. Rick Carney officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. Sephronia passed away Friday, July 14, 2017 at William P. Clements Hospital, Dallas, Texas with her loving family by her side.She was born to Buster Brown and Linnie Opal (Thompson) Reedy on July 5, 1949 in Sherman, Texas. She married George Rue on August 2, 1969 in Whitesboro, Texas. Sephronia was Office Manager at Hayes Primary School, Whitesboro for 39 years. She loved to play Bingo and loved to travel. She was an avid supporter and attended all the events she could at Whitesboro ISD through the years, especially when her nephews were playing. Sephronia was a member of First Baptist Church of Whitesboro. She simply adored her family and was very proud of her husband, George and daughters, Jennifer and Melanie.
She is survived by her husband, George of Whitesboro; daughters, Jennifer and Melanie Rue of Red Oak; brother, B.B. Reedy, Jr. and wife, Rhonda of Whitesboro and sister, Alice Ivy and husband, Tommy of Murchison; mother-in-law, Nellie Rue of Whitesboro and brother-in-law, Rex Rue and wife, Judy of Whitesboro, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Sephronia was preceded in death by her parents, Buster and Opal Reedy; father-in-law, G.W. Rue and nephew, Ryan Rue.
Pallbearers will be Dr. Brad Rue, Chad Sias, Elic Reedy, Seth Reedy, Rustin Reedy and Jimmy Greer.
