May 5, 1936 –  March 16, 2017  Sarah Ann West Sledge was born on May 5, 1936 and passed away on March 16, 2017. She is to be cremated at her request with only a private family memorial. Sarah is survived by husband, Fred Sledge; daughters, Susan Smith and husband, David of Oklahoma and Carolyn Robertson and husband, Corky of Houston; 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Juanita West and a brother, Billy Gene West. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home, Whitesboro, Texas.
