December 11, 1923 –  November 22, 2011  TIOGA â?? Graveside services for Ruby Fae Wooten, 87, will be held Friday, November 25, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. at the Pilot Point Cemetery with Ricky Patterson officiating. Service arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro, Texas.She passed away on November 22, 2011 in Tioga, Texas.
Ruby Fae Wooten was born to Gussie and Effie (Gaskin) Gaddie on December 11, 1923 in Whitesboro, Texas. She married Guy Neil Wooten in Sherman, Texas in 1943. She was employed as a secretary for Camp Howze and also worked as a Librarianâ??s assistant for the Tioga ISD. She was a member of the Tioga Church of Christ. She also belonged to the Tioga Art Club and the 19th Century Club. She loved gardening, sewing and cooking. She was an â??organicâ? gardener. She enjoyed making her daughterâ??s clothing. She loved taking care of her husband, Guy Neil.
She is survived by her husband, Guy Neil Wooten of Tioga, TX; daughter, Karen Wooten-Goodwin of Plano,TX; Jana Wooten-Amos of Plano, TX; granddaughter Emily Hudson; grandson, Neil Amos; great-grandsons: Connor and Carter Hudson; brother, Grady Gaddie of Whitesboro; sisters: Virginia Carter of Sherman, TX; and Mary Lou Steinebaugh of Sherman, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gussie and Effie Gaddie.
