December 31, 1933 –  June 9, 2015  Memorial Services for Ron McMillan, 81, of Whitesboro will be held Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Flanagan officiating. A family visitation will follow in the Christian Life Center. Meador Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.He died Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at Wilson N. Jones Hospital, Sherman, Texas surrounded by his loved ones. He was born to Frank and Elizabeth (Kelley) McMillan on December 31, 1933 in Amarillo, Texas. He married Linda (Oglesby) McMillan on September 19, 1959, in Gainesville, Texas. Ron and Linda were business owners having McMillan Auto Parts for many years. He was a member of First Baptist Church, singing in the choir for years. He was a past president of the Whitesboro Chamber of Commerce; was a member of the Rotary Club and was a Paul Harris Fellow and served on the Board of Directors of Security Bank. He was a dedicated man to any and all commitments. He loved his wife, kids and grandchildren and really enjoyed Western movies.
He is survived by his wife, Linda; daughters, Sharla Darter of Cedar Park, Texas and Andra Schuessler and husband, Jim of Whitesboro; six grandchildren, Shauna Klaus and husband, Randall, Shanon Janczak and husband, Justin, Hannah, Jill, Ryan and Karlee Schuessler; one great-granddaughter, Avery Anne Klaus and one sister, Ramonda Bingham and husband, Dennis of Lubbock.
