January 17, 1955 –  April 29, 2011  SADLER – Memorial Services for Robert Bell, 56, will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Rev. Joe Patterson and Rev. Kelly Adams officiating. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.Robert passed away on Friday, April 29, 2011 at his residence.
He was born on Jan. 17, 1955 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Frank and Betty (Ellers) Bell. He married Angie Stone on April 20, 1996 in Powder Springs, Georgia. Robert worked as a warehouse supervisor for 28 years. He was the former pastor of Lighthouse Full Gospel Church in Douglasville, Georgia. For the past year, he and his wife, Angie, ran a daycare. He loved to build things. He was very passionate about his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and he continually prayed for people’s needs and salvation. Robert was a member of New Day Tabernacle Church in Whitesboro. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He was Angie’s best friend.
Survivors include his wife, Angie Bell of Sadler; children, Christina Bell of Sadler, Alexis Bell of Sadler, Amelia Bell of Sadler, Doug Bell of Georgia, Telisha Gonzalez of Georgia and Matthew Lavender of Georgia; sisters, Patti Sanders and Melody Bell of Georgia; a brother, Tracey Bell of Georgia; grandchildren, Haley, Dylan, Juliana, Gabriella and Sicilia Bell of Georgia; brother in law, Brian Stone and wife, Michelle; sister in law, Janet Distefano and husband, Joe; brother in law, Jeremiah Stone and wife, Candice; father and mother in law, David and Lavon Stone; and mother in law, Doris Wigley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Bell and Betty Davis; sister, Debbie Woods; and step father, Glenn Davis.
