Rita Jean Hughes, 75 of Gainesville, Texas passed away on January 18, 2021. She was born on August 18, 1945 in Oakland, Louisiana to Myles Lombard Bowman and Emma Mardell (Russom) Bowman.
She is survived by daughters, Rhonda Mace and husband,Randy Mace of Gainesville, Texas, Tharon Ogletree of Gainesville, Texas, Latrisha Wood and husband, Chris of Sanger, Texas; brother, Myles Bowman and wife, Linda of Granbury, Texas; sisters, Gaye Dawson of Bowie, Texas, Janie Bowman of Marietta, Oklahoma; 4 grandchildren, Wes Ogletree, Riley Ogletree, Raeann Ogletree and Emma McWhorter; 3 great-grandchildren, Randi Ogletree, Kyra Cook and Landon Cook
Preceded in death; parents, brother, Charles Randell Bowman

Prayers for Rita and her family. I worked with Rita for a few years and had a great love and respect for her. She taught me so much about being a supervisor that I took to another job.
