June 4, 1923 –  April 14, 2005  WHITESBORO – Funeral services for Richard A. Millson, age 81, of Whitesboro will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, April 16, 2005 at the First Baptist Church of Collinsville with the Rev. Jerry Davis officating. Interment will be in the Collinsville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Friday at Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro.
Mr. Millson passed away Thursday, April 14, 2005 at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center in Sherman.

Mr. Millson was born June 4, 1923 in Jacksonville, FL to Edward and Mamie (Ramsay) Millson. He married Trudy Brown on August 24, 1944 in Dallas, TX.

Mr. Millson was a member and Deacon of the First Baptist Church of Collinsville. He was a retired Colonel from the U.S. Air Force. He was a WWII veteran. At retirement he was stationed at Dallas N.A.S. 136th squadron at Hensley Field. Mr. Millson founded Hometown Realty in 1979 in Collinsville. He was a best friend to all of his children, an avid golfer, a devoted Christian, Wonderful companion and loving husband to his wife Trudy.

Survivors include his wife Trudy Millson of Whitesboro; 6 Children, Larry Millson and wife Pat of Whitesboro, Diane Sneed and husband Kent of Ben Wheeler, Ronald Millson of Ft. Worth, Margaret Burkett and husband Sammy of Edgewood, Carol Williams and husband Delman of Grand Prairie and Tim Millson and wife Joulia of Cayman Islands; Brother, Jack Millson and wife Sylvia of Arlington; 13 Grandchildren and 14 Great-Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by Sister, Margaret Simpson; Brother, Jim Alexander and 2 Grandchildren, Catherine and Larry Millson, Jr.

Pallbearers are; Ken Sneed, Brian Millson, Heath York, Haydn York, Kyle Williams and Kevin Williams.

Honorary Pallbearers are; Joey Bush, Glen Roddy, Cole Guidinger.
