November 16, 1952 –  October 30, 2016  Celebration of Life Services for Rhonda Gail Tyler, 63, of Gainesville, Texas will be held Thursday, November 3, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at Meador Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jody Dyer officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 2nd from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Rhonda passed away Sunday, October 30, 2016, at Texoma Medical Center in Denison with her family by her side.She was born to John Leonard and Vera Elfa (Stubblefield) Phelps on November 16, 1952, in Sherman, Texas. She married Ronnie Tyler on September 10, 1968 in Whitesboro, Texas. Rhonda was the youngest of 13 children and a twin to Robert Dale Phelps. She loved her family with all her heart and soul. She was known as “mo-mo” to her family and was a very special lady. She loved to fish and spend time with her grandchildren. Rhonda was always concerned about others. She was strong in her faith in the Lord and was prepared to enter the Gates of Heaven. She gave her whole heart to her friends and especially, her family.
She is survived by her husband, Ronnie Tyler of Gainesville; daughter, Tammy Tyler Nelson and husband, Mike of Gainesville; sons, Ronnie Lee Tyler, Jr. of Collinsville and Billy Mack Tyler and wife, Meagan of Collinsville; grandchildren, Kile Quisenberry, Ryan Tyler, Laura Tyler and Michaela Nelson and great-grandson, Nickolas Kile Quisenberry; sisters, Vera Lue Burdg and Betty Slaton; brothers, Dub Phelps, Virgil Phelps, Orval Phelps, Billy Phelps and Robert Phelps.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Vera Phelps; sisters, Christine Garrett, Patsy McCauley, Brenda Drain, and Glenda Roberts; brother, J. E. Phelps.
