May 18, 1945 –  December 1, 2015  GAINESVILLE – Funeral Services for Reba Comer, 70, will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 4, 2015 at the Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Gainesville with the Rev. Duke Dowling officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.Reba passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at River Valley Health and Rehabilitation Center in Gainesville.
She was born on May 18, 1945. Reba was retired from the Gainesville State School, where she worked as a cook for many years. She married Gus Comer on August 27, 1976 in Gainesville. She attended Southside Baptist Church in Gainesville.
Survivors include her husband, Gus Comer of Gainesville; a daughter, Theresa Moore of Gainesville; a step-daughter, Pam Comer of Gainesville; and 2 brothers, Dickey Powell and Darrell Powell.
