Gainesville resident, Randall Lee Hott, 53, passed away, September 15, 2017 in Denton, TX. He was born in Gainesville, Texas on November 14, 1963, to William Ray and Sandra (Howard) Hott. Randy was an electrician employed by Reliable Electric.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 19th at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Gainesville with Rev. Hollis Parsons officiating. A visitation will be held Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Craig Stobaugh, Jeff Caldwell, James Robinson, Lee Arnett, T. J. Woolsey and Terry Wanamaker. Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery in Mountain Springs.

Survivors include the love of his life, Cheryl Sutton of Gainesville; daughters, Ashley Hott, Little Randi Hott, and her mother Karen Hott and step-daughter, Carrie Foster all of Gainesville; three brothers and their wives, Tim and Penny Hott of Whitesboro, Steve and Valerie Hott of Sanger, and David and Staci Hott of Gainesville; seven grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins who all loved him very much. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Ray and Sandra Hott.
