Funeral services for Alice Pauline Dillon Eddings, 89, will be held Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro, Texas with Bro. Joe Patterson officiating. Interment will follow the service at Collinsville Cemetery. All service arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro, Texas. Visitation services will be held on Tuesday, November 26, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
She passed away on November 22, 2013 in Whitesboro, Texas.

?Polly? was born on February 21, 1924 in Whitesboro, Texas to John Sharpe and Edith Marie (Utley) Dillon. She married Terry W. Eddings on February 7, 1971 in Dallas, Texas. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Whitesboro. She was a true homemaker, always cooking and cleaning. She was a great mom who loved her family dearly. She was a friend to everyone she met.

She is survived by her husband, Terry Eddings, of Whitesboro; son, James Stafford of Alvarado; daughter, Gail Marie Dooley of Whitesboro; daughter, Debra Bates of Alvarado; son, Robert Eddings, of Weatherford; daughter, Connie Eddings, of Crowley; son, Jeffrey Eddings, of Forney; grandchildren; great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and sister, Annie Fielder of Whitesboro.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Edith Dillon; late husband, James W. Stafford; daughter, Beverly Ann Bates; and seven brothers and one sister.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Polley, Ryan Stafford, Mark Palin, Shannon McGowan, Michael Bates, and Bill Perkins. Honorary pallbearers will be Charlie Parsons and Kenneth Joyner.
