Peggy Shaw, 72, passed away July 27, 2016 at her residence in Gainesville. She was born June 3, 1944 in Dallas, Texas. She married Johnny Shaw, September 24, 1999. She was a member of Bible Baptist for 17 years. She was a retired Registered Nurse.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 1st at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Gainesville, with Rev. Joe Patterson and Rev. Robert Carlock officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery. A Visitation will be held at Meador Funeral Home Chapel Sunday, July 31th from 2 to 4 p.m.

Survivors include her husband Johnny Shaw of the home; 4 daughters, Sonya Pellman & husband Tony of Denison, TX; Julie Kirby and husband Brian of Denison, TX; Toni Patterson and husband John of Whitesboro; Emily Ross & Brian of Decatur, TX; 4 sons, Maynard Roberts of Rosharon, TX; Stanley Roberts of Denison, TX; John Shaw of Gainesville, TX; William Shaw of Birmingham, AL; 5 sisters, Joyce Hood, Shirley Arrington, Glenda Rathburn, Patsy Wright and Vickie Tischler; 2 brothers, Randy Wooten and Billy Wooten; 23 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ralph & Ora Wooten, two sisters, Alice Roberts, Betty Roberts and brother, Bobby Wooten.
