October 30, 1918 –  September 4, 2010  Funeral services for Gainesville resident Opal Fay Eugster will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 8th at Clement-Keel Chapel with Dr. Bennie Slack, Pastor of Montague First Baptist Church officiating. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Burial will follow in New Rest Haven Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 7-8 p .m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Eugster passed away Saturday, September 4, 2010 at Pecan Tree Health and Rehab Center.
Opal Fay was born in Marysville, Texas to Thompson Monroe and Mary Jane (Owens) Reeves October 30, 1918. She married Carl James Eugster April 9, 1937 in Gainesville. She had owned her own beauty shop and was a homemaker. Mrs. Eugster was a member of First Baptist Church and the Baptist Womenâ??s Mission Group.

Opal Fay Eugster is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Roslyn Eugster of Gainesville; daughter, Margie Nunn of Gainesville; daughter and son-in-law, Gail and Donald Rollins of Nashville, Tennessee; sisters, Pauline Hellinger of Houston, Sybil Yost of Sanger and Shirley Cawthorne of Thackerville; 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.
