September 19, 1922 – January 15, 2009 DENTON รข?? Funeral Services for Minnie Ola Howard, 86, will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 18, 2009 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Rev. Randy Snow and Rev. Russ Witte officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, 2009 at the funeral home.
Minnie went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, Jan. 15, 2009 at Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth.
She was born on Sept. 19, 1922 to Gene Kelly and Grace (Gooch) Kelly and married Rudolph Howard on Jan. 7, 1955 in Gainesville, Texas. Minnie attended Cross Timbers Community Church in Argyle and was a member of The Order of the Eastern Star. She was loved greatly by all her family and friends and will be missed dearly.
Survivors include a niece, Dorothy Smith of Denton, 2 great-nephews, Joe Fangman of Denton and Russell Dale Thompson of Denton, 3 great-nieces, Rene Thompson of Denton, Shelia Morgan of Denton and Shannon Alpial of Denton, 10 great-great nieces and nephews and 9 great-great-great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Grace Kelly, her husband, Rudolph Howard, 3 sisters, Beulah Odom, Christine Kelly and Lois Kelly, and a brother, Clyde Kelly.
Pallbearers will be David Cundiff, David Gonzales, Brandon Morgan, Brent Fangman, Abraham Delarosa and Donnie Howard.
