July 25, 1929 –  November 9, 2017  Thackerville, Oklahoma resident, Mildred Hope Worton, passed away Thursday, November 9, 2017 at North Texas Medical Center in Gainesville at the age of eighty-eight. She was born July 25, 1929 in Maud, Oklahoma to Jack and Oma Lee (Liggen) Davis. Mildred had worked for Bomber Bait and was a loving mother and grandmother.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 14th at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Thackerville, Oklahoma with Murray McMurray officiating. Services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Gainesville.

Survivors include a son, James Worton, Jr. of Thackerville; daughters, Janeth Reed and husband, Steven of Thackerville and Vickie Reed of Thackerville; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and sisters, Dorothy McCarley of Anderson, California and Ola Christine Dunn of Commerce, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Worton; daughter, Teresa Prather; grandson, William Reed; brother Chester Davis and sister, Jacqueline.
