January 10, 1958 –  December 19, 2014  Michael R. Comer died Friday, December 19, 2014 at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Sherman, Texas at the age of 56. He was born January 10, 1958 in Gainesville, Texas to Gus and Georgia (Cox) Comer. Michael had worked as a trackman and in maintenance for the railroad for a number of years. Michael’s family will hold a Memorial Service at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 23rd at Southside Baptist Church with Bro. Duke Dowling officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at the church.
Survivors include his parents, Gus and Reba Comer of Gainesville; sister, Pam Comer of Gainesville; 3 children and 2 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Georgia Comer.
