February 19, 1942 –  October 15, 2005  Callisburg â?? Memorial Services for Max Melvin Stringer, 63, will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, Oct. 22, 2005 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Rev. Marvin Lowry officiating.
Mr. Stringer passed away Saturday, Oct. 15 at his home.

Mr. Stringer was born February 19, 1942 to M.E. â??Geneâ? and Vi (Gear) Stringer in Galesburg, Kansas. He married Mary Ann Measles on July 16, 1960 in Madill, Oklahoma. He was employed at Dresser DBS in Dallas as a machinist for 36 years and was the Associate Pastor of Bread of Life Church in Collinsville.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Mary Ann Stringer of Callisburg; his mother, Vi Stringer of Denison; two daughters, Diana Staats and her husband Richard Hathaway of Plano and Judy McMains and her husband Dean of Callisburg; a son, Max â??Buddyâ? Stringer, Jr. of Callisburg; a sister , Patricia Blaich of Houston; a brother; Kent Stringer of Denison; 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father.
