March 24, 1926 –  June 2, 2014  Funeral services for Gainesville resident, Mattie Virginia Cutlip will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 5th at Meador-Clement-Keel Chapel, with Jay Culpepper, Pastor of Commerce Street Church of Christ officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Family visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Cutlip passed away June 2, 2014 at Renaissance Care Center.
Mattie was born March 24, 1926 in Abilene, Texas to the late William Albert and Laura (Henderson) Lindley. She was a homemaker and a long-time member of Commerce Street Church of Christ.

Survivors include husband, Robert Cutlip of Gainesville; son, John Preston of Arlington; daughter, Patricia Danner of St. Joseph, Missouri; sister, Beulah Theel of Kansas City, Kansas; brother, John V. Lindley of Pennsylvania; numerous grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Preston and son, Wayne Preston.
