January 7, 1957 –  January 20, 2015  WHITESBORO – Funeral services for Mary Jolene Thomas, 58, will be held Saturday, January 24, 2015, at 2:00 p.m., in the First Presbyterian Church of Whitesboro, Texas with Rev. Clay Brantley officiating. Interment will follow the services at the Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro. All service arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro. Visitation services will be held on Friday, January 23, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.She died on January 20, 2015 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas.
Mary was born on January 7, 1957 in Parsons, Kansas to Joseph Alban and Mary Louise (Volmer) Sevart. Mary was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Whitesboro. She was a youth leader. Mary was employed as an RN and worked with mental health patients. She also worked for North Texas Home Health. Mary had a heart to serve other. She loved her grandchildren, who knew her as Nonny. She was also a great guitar picker.
She is survived by her husband, Robin Thomas, of Whitesboro; son, Joshua Donahue and wife, Emily, of Mazie, KS; daughter, Annie McEuin, of Rome; step-daughter, Shawnna Cox, of Houston; step-daughter, Sky Thomas, of Houston; grandchildren: Kera, Emma, Jenae, Macy, Tommy, Charlie, Brooklyn, Dylan, and Austin; brother, Terry Sevart and wife, Penny, of Midland; brother, Jeff Sevart and wife, Sherrie, of Sperry, OK: sister, Mickey Sevart, of Wallis; mother, Lou Sevart, of Parsons, KS; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Sevart; and her sister, Debbie Sevart.
