September 5, 1929 –  August 5, 2006  WHITESBORO รข?? Funeral services for Marion Eldredge Clounch, age 76, will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, August 7, 2006 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Taplin and Randy Mathis officiating. Interment will follow in Dixie Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 P.M. Sunday, August 6, 2006 at the funeral home.
Mr. Clounch passed away Saturday, August 05, 2006 at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center in Sherman.

Marion was born on September 5, 1929 in Quanah, Texas to Benjamin and Daisy (Turner) Clounch. He married Hulena Gravette on August 10, 1950 in Rockwall, Texas.
He retired from Missouri Pacific Transportation after 33 years of service. He was a member of North Union St. Church of Christ. Marion was an avid gardener, car enthusiast and he loved his Dallas Cowboys. He was also a loving husband father and Paw-Paw.

He is survived by his wife, Hulena Clounch of Whitesboro; two daughters, Rhonda Veltman and husband Steve of Red Oak and Tronnia Smith and husband Randy of Whitesboro; four brothers, Bill Clounch of Tool, Ben Hatcher of Gainesville, Joe Cushing of Saginaw and Phil Moody of Houston; four sisters, Bennie Garner of Gladewater, Ella Sanford of Mena, AR, Shirley Ward of Gainesville and Betty Jane Huffman of Lake Kiowa; 7 grandchildren; Brittany Harmon and husband Jeremy, Chase Smith, Cole Smith, Jay S. Bird and wife Leah, Brittany Jane Smith, Shawn Veltman and Scott Veltman.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Benjamin and Daisy Clounch; two brothers, Lindy Clounch and James Clounch and a sister, Mary Lou Breshear.

Pallbearers are: Bill Clounch, Ben Hatcher, Joe Cushing, Phil Moody, Jay Bird, Chase Smith, Cole Smith and Jeremy Harmon .
