May 8, 1951 –  June 28, 2010  WHITESBORO – Funeral Services for Margie Wright, 59, will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 1, 2010 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Rev. Rick Carney officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Margie passed away on Monday, June 28, 2010 at Denton Regional Hospital.

She was born on May 8, 1951 in Sherman to Bill and Ivy May (Hudson) Weir. Margie married Robert Wright on Oct. 31, 1997 in Paris, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of Harvey St. Baptist Church in Gainesville. Margie enjoyed genealogy research, her flower gardens and loved animals.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Wright of Whitesboro; a daughter, Marsha Leneveu and husband, Tom of Hurst; a son, Billy Freeman and wife, Shirley of Sanger; 4 sisters, Lillie Manfield of Irving, Scarlet Alvorado of Garland, Eula Reed of Coffman and Lenora Kerr of Whitesboro; 3 brothers, Marvin Weir of Whitesboro, Frank Weir of Meed, Oklahoma and Carl Weir of Iowa Park; and 5 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers; and a sister.
Pallbearers are Brandon Weir, Phillip Weir, Curt Weir, David Cardwell, Mark Brinlee and Dwayne Lowery.
