January 12, 1920 –  February 23, 2005  Collinsville – Services for Margaret Lueretia Prince, age 85, will be 11 A.M. Friday, February 25, 2005 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Rev. Jerry Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Collinsville Cemetery directed by Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro.
Mrs. Prince died Wednesday, February 23, 2005 at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center in Sherman.

Margaret, known as â??Mrs. Princeâ? or â??Grannyâ?, was born January 12, 1920 in Westminster, Texas to Edgar Virgil and Eliza Ann (Vickers) Smith. She married William Hayes Prince, Sr. on August 29, 1935 in Gainesville, Texas. She was a wonderful homemaker, raising six children and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Collinsville.

Survivors include two sons, William H. Prince, Jr. And wife Zelma of Irving, Robert Steven Prince, Sr. and wife Anne of Denton, 4 daughters, Patricia Ann Sawyer and husband Boyd of Frisco, Gwendolyn Jane Simmons of Whitesboro, Kathryn Lynn Sinclair and husband Leroy of Collinsville and Carol Susan Williams and husband Brad of Sherman, 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Hayes Prince, Sr., a sister, Quncie Elvington, a brother, Edgar Jack Smith and one granddaughter, Kimberly Sue Williams.

Pallbearers are Jeffrey Scott Prince, Randall Paul Williams, Edgar Leroy Sinclair, Steven Prince, Matthew Linn and Justin Alan Simmons.
