Mamie Wanell Cox McNairn (Nell), born March 9, 1933 to Marvin Abe Cox and Margaret Elizabeth Kyle Cox in Collinsville, Texas.  She married Harold Newton McNairn on August 19, 1950.  Together they raised 3 children.  They also enjoyed 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren and many bonus grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She worked at Weber Aircraft for over 25 years.  Mamie loved her family, her church and her Lord Jesus Christ.  She was active in the Stanford House until her health prevented her.

Mamie was preceded in death by her parents, her darling Harold, her brothers, Wade Cox and Wendell Cox and sister in law Dorothy Cox.

Mamie is survived by her children, Rick and Virginia McNairn, Bret and Vicki McNairn, LaWana & Eddie Garland and grandchildren.  Also survived by sister in laws, Evelyn Cox and Lois Petty and husband, Jeral.

Visitation will be held Sunday, June 5, 2022 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Meador Funeral Home, 1204 E. California Street, Gainesville, Texas.  Funeral Service will be Monday, June 6, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Meador Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment to follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Collinsville, Texas.
