July 12, 1929 –  July 6, 2016  Mabel Arlene ManusMabel Arlene Manus, 86, of Gainesville, TX passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2016, at Plano Medical Center Hospital. She was born July 12, 1929 in Waynesville, North Carolina to John C. & Lora (Downs) Noland. She was a beautician and loved her clients.
A private memorial service will be at a later date. Cremation is under the direction of Meador Funeral Home, Gainesville, Texas.
She is survived by son, Bobby “Rob” Wayne Covington and daughter in law DeLeana Covington; 3 grandsons, Levi Covington, Dakota Covington and Rowdy Covington; great granddaughter, Addilynn Covington; 2 brother, Bill Noland and Mac Noland; three sisters, Joann Noland, Phylis Noland and Juanita Coidrion; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by husbands, Bobby Covington, Sr. and George Manus, brother, J.C. Noland; two sisters, Wilma Overstreet and AnnLee Overstreet.
