August 2, 1943 –  March 22, 2016  COLLINSVILLE- .Lynda Maxine (Robinson) Mitchell, 72, passed away at Texoma Medical Center in Denison on Tuesday, March 22, 2016. Visitation for Lynda will be Thursday, March 24th from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Meador Funeral Home Chapel. Meador Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements. Lynda Maxine was born on August 2, 1943 in Dallas, Texas to Hassell Robinson and Cleo (Hammer) Robinson. She worked as a nurse for 50 years and was known by all as Ma. She had a personality that could light up a room upon her entrance. Lynda will be greatly missed. Survivors include her son, Festus Lee Eaton and wife, Fawn of Casa Grande, Arizona; daughter, Jana Lynne Skinner of Collinsville; 2 grandchildren, Vincent Calabrese and partner, Kyle Harris of Sherman, and Lyndzey Scarbrough and husband, Shane of Whitesboro; 2 great grandchildren, Mason and Paxtyn Scarbrough; brother, James Dalton Robinson of Gainesville and sister, Iwanna VanHoozen of Bakersville, California; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by her parents, Hassell Robinson and Cleo Mitchell; a brother, Charles Robinson; sister-in-law, Ruth Kittrell Robinson and sister, Ruby Jo Chilcoat.
