December 22, 1923 – May 8, 2009 WHITESBORO รข?? Lucille Marie Watson Sims, 85, passed from this life on May 8, 2009 in Whitesboro. She was born on Dec. 22, 1923 to the parentage of Benjamin F. Watson and Mary Lou Richeson Watson in Cooke County, Texas.
Lucille had been retired for many years from Johnson & Johnson in Sherman. During her lifetime, she was a mother, wife, daughter and friend to many people. Lucille also worked as a nurse at the Gainesville Hospital and was a longtime member of the North Union St. Church of Christ in Whitesboro.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Mary Watson, her husband, Milton Carlisle Sims, her son, Billy Don Sims, and 3 brothers, C.E. Watson, Harvey Watson and Fred Watson.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be great-nephews, Bret, Bart, Brock, Donnie and Daryl Watson and great-great-nephew, Ben Watson.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 11, 2009 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Randy Mathis officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro. Viewing hours will be from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 10, 2009 at the funeral home.
