Funeral Services for Louise Scott, 83, will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 5, 2009 at the Dixie Baptist Frontier Church in Dixie with Pastor Carl Douglass officiating. Interment will follow at Allison Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 4, 2009 at the funeral home.
Louise passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2009 at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center in Sherman.
She was born on Feb. 13, 1926 in Tyler, Texas to Silas David and Annie Mae (Weir) Pugh. Louise married Estel Scott in 1949 in Sherman. She was a member of the Dixie Baptist Frontier Church.
Survivors include her husband, Estel Scott of Gordonville; 3 brothers, David E. Pugh of Gordonville, Elmer R. Pugh of Mesquite, and Hugh L. Pugh of Log Cabin, Texas; 2 sisters, Ida Faye Cobel of Winnsboro, and Dorothy Ortez of Winnsboro.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Silas and Annie Pugh; 2 sisters, Daisy Wertz and Margie Benavides; and a brother, James R. Pugh.
