November 6, 1923 –  September 20, 2011  Gainesville â?? Geneve Louise Cummings, 87, went home to be with her Lord on September 20, 2011. She passed away at her home in Gainesville. The family is planning a private memorial service at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro, Texas.Geneve Cummings was born on November 6, 1923 to Earl and Elva Fowler in Mena, Arkansas. She married Marvin Wayne Cummings. She was a very spiritual woman, a full Gospel believer. She lived for her family.
She is survived by her daughters: Louise Weaver of Gainesville, TX; Linda Blackstone and friend, Bill Morgan, of Collinsville, TX; Barbara Roberts of Gainesville, TX; June Knight and husband, Jerry, of Callisburg, TX; son: Earl Wayne Cummings and wife, JoAnn, of Gainesville, TX; sisters: Earlene Hughes of Bakersfield, CA; Betty Brunce of California; and Winnie Lee Puryear of Amarillo, TX; and Bonnie Lange of California; nine grand children; thirteen great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great grandchildren.
She was proceded in death by her husband, Marvin Cummings, and her brothers.
