November 22, 1943 –  February 19, 2015  Loreta Ann Davis Peyrot, 71, passed away Thursday morning, February 19, 2015 at her home in Gainesville, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born in Weatherford, Texas November 22, 1943, the daughter of Lonnie and Jewel (Daniels) Davis. Loreta was married to James Peyot. She had two sons whom she absolutely adored. She was a stay at home mom, then managed TSO for 26 years and retired to bookkeeping for her son at Red Bone Livestock and the New Gainesville Livestock Auction. She enjoyed reading a good book, teaching Sunday School and fishing. Her last years were spent making memories with her grandchildren, Kreed, Harper and Winter, reading them books, baking cakes, painting and whatever else they wanted to do. She was the best MeMe any kid could ask for. They made her world go round. Loreta will be missed by all.Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 23rd at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Gainesville with Rev. Robby Peyrot officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Survivors include husband, James Peyrot, Sr. of Gainesville; son, James Peyrot, Jr. of Gainesville; daughter-in-law, Katie Peyrot of Gainesville; beloved grandchildren, Kreed Peyrot, Harper Peyrot and Winter Peyrot of Gainesville; brother-in-law, Robert Morgan of Weatherford; niece, Kathy Mellichamp and husband, Dallas of Round Rock; nephews, Paul Morgan and wife, Darla of Naples, Florida. and James Morgan and wife, Sherry of Temple and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie and Jewel Davis; son, Steve Beauchamp; brother, Lonnie Ray Davis and sister, Virginia Davis Morgan.
