March 16, 1923 –  February 17, 2009  WHITESBORO â?? Funeral Services for Lorene Davis, 85, will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, 2009 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Rev. Mike Flanagan officiating. A graveside service will follow at 3 p.m. at Trinity Cemetery in Wilmer, Texas. Visitation will be from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Lorene passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at the Whitesboro Health & Rehab Center.

She was born on March 16, 1923 to John Sylvester Kerr and Auretta (Bones) Kerr. She married Robert Davis, Sr. on Dec. 27, 1939 in Rockwall, Texas

Survivors include her husband, Robert Davis, Sr. of Whitesboro, a son, Robert â??Speedyâ? Davis, Jr. and wife Dâ??Ann of Whitesboro, 3 grandchildren, Robert L. Davis, Randy K. Davis and Deana Davis Mrusek and 8 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers, a sister and a grandson, Rodney Davis.

Pallbearers will be, Darrin Davis, Cody Davis, Mark Mrusek, Jr. and Robby Davis.
