February 13, 1931 –  January 5, 2017  Lois Irene Harvey (85), passed away Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Pecan Tree Health and Rehab Center. She was born February 13, 1931 in Des Moines Iowa to James and Jessie (Shipley) Adamson. Lois was a homemaker and loving mother and grandmother.
A Visitation will be held Tuesday evening, January 10th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Gainesville.

Survivors include daughters, Pam Hulsizer of Piedmont, Alabama, Alice Ray and husband, Robertb of Rockport, Texas, Jeanette Benard and husband Mark of Gainesville, Gail Brown of Flippin, Arkansas, Barbara Harvey of Gainesville and Carmen Bond and husband Michael of Gainesville; son, Emmitt Harvey, Jr of Gainesville; brother, Wayne Adamson and fourteen grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Emmett Harvey, two children; and grandson, Christopher Bond.
