Sadler – Memorial services for Lloyd “Dale” Baker, 74, of Sadler. Texas will be held on Friday, June 8, 2018 at 10:00 am at Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro, with Elder Thomas McDonald officiating. Dale passed away from this life and into his eternal life on Monday, June 4, 2018 at Wilson N. Jones Hospital.

He was born in Allenville, Missouri on February 12, 1944 to Emazzar and Emma (Criddle) Baker. He graduated from Delta High School in Missouri and then served our country in the United States Navy from 1962-1966. He married the love of his life, Joyce Hester in Chaffee, Missouri on November 15, 1963 and together they raised two daughters Beverly and Barbara. Dale loved his family; his daughters and grandchildren were his pride and joy. He especially enjoyed cook outs by the pond and fishing with his grandkids. Dale was a man that was good with his hands and could fix anything you placed in front of him.

Dale is survived by his wife, Joyce Baker, daughter, Beverly Smith and husband, Joel of Denison, daughter, Barbara Lewis and husband, Alan of Granbury, four grandchildren, Bryce Hunter and wife, Rylee, Samantha Gunn and husband, Tomm, Alayna Hunter, Adam Lewis and Fiancee, Rhianna Campbell, brother, Cecil Baker and wife, Genie of Peyton, CO, sister, Gladys Stroder of Chaffee, MO, mother and father-in-law, Bobby and Ruby Hester of Chaffee, MO, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Emazzar and Emma Baker, brother, Charles Baker and Sister Dorothy Dudley.
