April 17, 1916 – April 20, 2008 COLLINSVILLE รข?? Funeral services for Letha Reed-Clement, 92, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at First Baptist Church in Collinsville with Rev. Jerry Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Collinsville Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 P.M. Monday, April 21, 2008 at the funeral home.
Letha was born April 17, 1916 in Gunter, Texas to David Washington and Caroline Wilson. She had been a member of First Baptist Church in Collinsville since 1945. Letha had worked 13 years for Russell Newman Sewing Factory in Pilot Point. She was also a homemaker and very artistic.
She is survived by a daughter; Alva Rowe and husband Bobby of Collinsville; two grandchildren; Sharon Y. Matlock and husband Dennis of Collinsville and Dr. Thomas F. Rowe and wife McKim of League City, Texas; six great-grandsons; Staff Sgt. Cory Ross and wife Haley of Pilot Point, TX, Sgt. John Ross and wife Ashley of Seattle, Washington, Theo Rowe, Thomas Rowe, Timothy Rowe and Taylor Rowe all of League City, Texas; a sister, Maudie Farrington of Collinsville, Texas and several nieces and nephews.
Letha was preceded in death by two husbands, John T. Reed in 1974 and Albert Clement in 1988, 10 brothers and sisters.
Great-grandsons will serve as pallbearers
