September 16, 1974 –  March 3, 2015  WHITESBORO – Funeral services for Laurie Ann Pliska, 40, will be held Saturday, March 7, 2015, at 2:00 p.m., in the Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro, Texas with Rev. Terry Barnett officiating. Interment will follow the services at Oakwood Cemetery. There will be no visitation services. All service arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home.She died on Tuesday, March 3, 2015, in the North Texas Medical Center in Gainesville, Texas.
Laurie was born on September 16, 1974 in Irving, Texas to Ronald Wayne and Bessie (Ross) Wise. She was employed as a registered nurse.
She is survived by her children: Gage Ross Gillispie of Whitesboro; Gunner Lee Pliska of North Pole, AK; and Gabriella Pliska of Gainesville; parents, Leon and Bessie Cox of Whitesboro; siblings: Rebecca Walsh of Azle; David Cox of Penbroke Pines, FL; Susan Sessions of Houston; Kevin Cox of Alvarado; and Robin Moody of Alvarado.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Wise.
