August 20, 1952 –  December 21, 2008  WHITESBORO â?? Funeral Services for Larry Price, 56, will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, Dec. 26, 2008 at First Baptist Church in Whitesboro with Dr. Joe Patterson officiating. Interment will follow in Dixie Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2008 at the funeral home.
Larry passed away Sunday, Dec. 21, 2008 in Comanche, Texas, while doing something he loved, deer hunting.

He was born on Aug. 20, 1952 in Sherman to Sherman Price and Jewel (Remley) Sissney. Larry achieved an Associateâ??s Degree from Grayson Co. College in Engineering and served in the U.S. Army. He married Debra Wright on May 27, 1978. Larry was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He loved his country and was a strong supporter of our military. Larry was currently employed for thirty plus years at McMillan Auto Parts in Whitesboro as Manager.

Survivors include his wife, Debra Price of Whitesboro, a son, Aaron Price of Whitesboro, a daughter, Courtney Price and husband Josh Unclebach of Whitesboro, three grandchildren, Kayden James Unclebach, Rylee Lane Price and Alynah Caitlyn Price, four brothers, Don Price of Whitesboro, Joe Price of Whitesboro, Lynn Price of Pottsboro and Billy Price of Whitesboro, and a sister, Kay Rigsby of McKinney.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sherman Price and Jewel Sissney, a sister, Mary Belle McWain.

Pallbearers will be Louis Cartwright, Mack Meador, Brad Walsh, Eddie Fielder, Dale Ball and Ray Lynn Stuckey.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Josh Mathis, Billy Wayne Price and Johnny Price.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 15186, Austin, TX 78761.
