December 4, 1944 –  November 13, 2012  Kenneth Jones died Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at his residence in Valley View at the age of 67. He was born December 4, 1944 to the late E.J. and Lela Faye Jones in Gainesville, Texas. Kenneth had worked for Barnes Brothers Oil Company and was a member of Harvey Street Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 15th at Harvey Street Baptist Church with Rev. Jordan Johnson, pastor of Harvey Street Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery. Brian Brown, Clint Kelley, Jason Jones, Charles Brown, Jackie Nash and Brian Jones will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the church.

Kenneth Jones is survived by his sister, Lois Brown of Valley View and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, “Otho” Wayne Jones, Jimmy Charles Jones and Perry Dale Jones.
