March 29, 1930 –  May 18, 2017  Funeral Services for Kenneth E. Cunningham will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 23rd at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Gainesville with Mr. Murray McMurray officiating. Interment will follow at New Resthaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ryan Cunningham, Jesse Cunningham, Chris Rauschuber, Jordan Thompson, Brandon Thompson and Steve McElreath. Visitation will be at the funeral home Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Mr. Cunningham passed away Thursday, May 18, 2017 in Thackerville, Oklahoma. He was born April 29, 1930 in Cooke County, Texas to Arthur J. Cunningham and Pearl (Richeson) Cunningham. He married Marie E. Stevens on September 12, 1959 in Sulpher, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death in December 2016. He owned and operated his own welding business for 50 years. He was of the Christian Faith. He was a hard worker, loved his family and was a very honorable man.

Survivors include his son, Roy Cunningham and wife Butchie of Gainesville; daughter Karen Ellis and husband Vep of Thackerville, Oklahoma; Step children, Stephen Shults and wife Earlene of Gainesville, Joe Shults and wife Connie of Gainesville, Mary Porter of Gainesville; 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchldren; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, 5 sisters and 4 brothers.
